the hardest part done!

Post by crossstitchpro »

I haven't been here for awhile. Life gets crazy at times....I won't bore you with the details!
Anyway,
I've got the two hardest pages of the pattern done! They are the most intricate and complicated.
Here's the link. It's in the WIP folder.

Hi Merrywther,

Thanks for looking! I took a peek at your cross stitch projects on your webshots. I especially liked the one about a bad maid.

Wow! You don't have much left to stitch on it now! It really is looking superb! Does your hubby know you are stitching this for him?

He knows I'm stitching something, but then, I'm always stitching something. I just don't talk to him about it. When I'm done, I'll quietly have it framed, then put it away until Christmas. Hopefully he'll be surprised. Even if he's not, he will love it. :)

Finally! Some progress!

Post by crossstitchpro »

I haven't been able to stitch much on this project lately. I put my back out. It's been a week and nothing is better, so I'm calling the doc this morning.
Anyway....I finally decided I would stitch standing up and/or laying down.
( It hurts to sit). Here's link to what I've done so far. This pics for this project are in the WIP folder.

PS: Someone in another craft forum asked me why I didn't upload photos directly onto their forum. The reason is that I can only get a dial-up connection where I live. To save time, I upload photos once to webshots, then supply a link. It's much faster for me. :D

Have a great day everyone!

Oww! You poor thing!! That must be so frustrating for you, especially as you were stitching along so speedily, it really is looking great Lori. I hope you can get some relief soon.
