:applesauce: :applesauce: Both are beautiful!!! I'd love to learn all those new stitches that you have on the sampler. And that multi-pane flower design you are working is going to be terrific!

Love that sampler!
Are those stitches difficult to do? I rather fancy trying something like that.

And the floral design is very pretty - what a good idea to cut out a paper template to make sure you place them correctly! :D

No, most of them are not difficult. I have this book in Hungarian, use it a lot (that's why I don't always know the names of the stitches :) ) and also look for stitch instructiuns on the net.
But if I could start it again, I would use an evenwave not Aida, some stitches would be easier. But I wanted to use something I already had, not to spend money. (we need a "broke" smiley :) )

Both projects are beautiful, and your sampler will be a great "look-up book"!

I love both of these Agi. There is something lovely about the colours you are using in both of them. They are lovely and soft.

That stitches sampler is simply stunning Agi. You must be very artistic to have arranged the pattern and colours so well. The flowers are also great.

Update on the nature project - I worked on this on UFO wek but didn't do too much.

Got the three bottom projects done:

Close ups:

These two come from a free pattern by Mary Hickmott, Nture's Harvest.

Image

I wanted to stitch a leaf from one of the recent New Stitches, but the size wasn't right, so I had to redraw it a bit. Stitched with a variegated thread with a technique I also learned from an old New Stitches, starting in the middle with the darker shade of the thread and then playing around with the color changes. I think it turned out not bad if I may say so myself :)

And the whole picture so far:

Image

Only three small parts missing from the top section. I have to find something to put there since my old computer is still not working and I don't find those freebies I have saved on it and planned to use. Probably two more flowers and another green leaf.
