Hi again.
heres an update after day one.
The aida's still quite stiff so it's hard to get it to lay flat atm.
Im finding the whole thing very relaxing. It's the largest aida ive stitched on since my mother bought me a roll of binka. The colours are all large solid blocks and unlike my last project (that i still cant bring myself to finish) theres absolutely no confetti!
There's been a few questions asked about it so i'm make an attempt to answer them as best as i can so far.
The pattern is extreemly easy to follow as it's full sized, colour and clearly labled it's also printed on thick shiny card.
For size conversion, each square is approx 110x110 stitches so it's 11x11inch per square.
Although i usually prefer to stitch with 2 strands the pattern calls for 3 strands so im stitching with 3.
As for ordering from Hua Xing's site i couldnt quite work it out either but i googled the patern names i liked and found several ebay shops that sell the full collections.
*purple flower* with p&p was £13.08
*Pearl lilly* with p&p was £26
they took 18 days to arrive.
There are 6-7 stockists on ebay who sell more or less the entire Hua Xing collection so finding one you like on there shouldnt be too hard and is much easier then trying to translate her site.
