You really have a lot of work to do. I am sure I would get in a muddle if I had so many on the go at once. I love to see all your HAED's but am not sure if I could ever attempt one, I have never stitched on any thing but Aida. Good luck with all your stitching. Ann

You should try it fiddler.Some people use 18 count aida, but personally (apart from obviously the holes being closer together) i find little difference to 18 and 25 count/aida or evenweave. Their is a difference when it comes to linens, but i do not use them.

I managed to get a friend into haed a few months back, and she had only been stitching for about 2 years, and was scared of using evenweave as well.Now she laughs at all teh fuss she made.You should get a bit of matieral and some threads, do one of the haed freebie charts and see if you like it. /you may find like kristie(my friend) that you love it.She is now buying her 5th chart(in only 2 months - and she says im nuts)

12th Dec Update - Flight of imagination

Also new start - Siberian Forest(only did a few days on this after my flight turn, will post wips after i do a week on it.

I was loving flight, till i made a rather large mistake, after doing quite alot of frogging, i decided to do a new start to cheer myself up.

Siberian forest is coming along nicely, but i am still waiting on threads arriving from america, and so i have alot of gaps.That and the fact (at the moment) it seems to be 12 shades of blue and grey i am using, slowly starts to wear you down. I cant wait to reach page 2 so i can start to do some of the tiger

I saw on the HAED BB that you had a lot of mr :anotherfrog:

to deal with. That happened to me on my mini and I grid. I think I had to :ribbit:

about 500 stitches (not as many as you said but still a lot) because I had used the wrong color. So annoying, but I love your solution and can't wait to see your progress on this one. The tigers are awesome. And I will also be looking forward to your updates on the other designs as well.

Thank you, and im sorry you needed to frog as well, anything over about 10 is a pain LOL. Just think of the amount of stitching time a year we must lose due to frogging :S.

I love my solution too, i never did any of it yesterday, as i took it of the frame to go to meet someone of the bb forum, and show of our stitching, talked and had something to eat - it was a great afternoon.

but im just about to put down the laptop and get started on it again.

What a fun afternoon you must have had. I wish there was someone around here I could meet also. I looked on the BB but no one close. Oh well, I am going to have to start something on my own. In the meantime, glad that you are going to get back to your "Flight". I look forward to the updates.

Beautiful work, I am so jealous, I just got three Haed charts today and am itching to start them all, I am also joining in the SAL on the Haed board for January and I picked the Tiger though mine is just the head of one of them but I think I will end up getting the one you have too? I have never done rotation stitching before but intend doing it soon with my charts, hope to see more lovely pictures of your work.

thanks all, siberian forest goes slowly as i dont have all the colours yet - stupid customs. and its mainly greys

, been working over towards the tiger tonight. but its all confetti. :S) Anyway a day or two more on this one and i will get to change over... wonder what ill do next ?
