So as I'm still on holidays (with another week to go...

) I've managed to stitch all the white of the moon.

Actually I've stitched his face as well and ....

I decided that the silver braid I had used really blended in and without knowing to look for a face it wouldn't be seen. Now I'm tossing up whether to use a light blue or a gold instead. I am going to try and do the backstitch as I have a matching blending filament to go with either of the colour braids I choose.

I've also started on my HAED 2012 Freebie SAL - Teddy Bear Tree:

My mum has taken another step towards getting some of my finished projects framed. The mats are now cut and everything is done except the layer of brown paper on the back!

And finally some photos of one of the finished humbugs from Christmas 2011. I got 4 out of the 6 I wanted to finished and will stitch the other two soon.

Wow!!! You have been busy!! Great stitching!!! The moon is looking great and I hope you figure out what threads to use for the face!! Very nice design!!Loving your finished projects too--your mom's done a fine job helping you get them matted and framed nicely!

Holy cow! You've made some great progress on all you WIPs. i'm really impressed by the HAED since I started mine last night and I think it took me 4 hours to get about 150 stitches!

The framing looks great, you are lucky to have someone that can do these so well for you. It really shows off your excellent stitching.
