Yay, a new project! I actually got this one with some Hobbycraft vouchers I got for my birthday back in October and I've been dying to start it, so I decided now we moved to a new house, I will start a new project, as if I haven't enough on the go already.

Here's what it will look like:-
Image

And here's what I have done so far. It's stitched on cream 18 count Aida with Dimensions random unknown thread brand with bizarre numbers, hahaha. The design will measure 7 x 5 inches when complete and is stitched with a mixture of full crosses, half crosses and 1, 2 or 3 strands.

It must be too early in the morning because I swore the title of your post said Bacon at Daybreak and I was very confused for a moment. Maybe I just need breakfast....

It's a very lovely piece and a wonderful start. I agree with YoungStitcher, there is something about the sky that's captivating.

What a lovely kit. :applesauce: and a good start. I agree that the sky is beautiful. It should have some really interesting texture also with all the different strand combinations. I am looking forward to the updates on this one.

That's very pretty and not too big either, so it should be a nice quick stitch. :D

Agree with everyone else that there are some gorgeous colours in this. Very much looking forward to watching your progress - which, knowing the speed you can stitch at, will be nice and regular :D

Great start! I enjoyed this one when I did it a few years ago. There are quite a few french knots if I remember correctly.

Thank you for all the comments!

Mechie, that made me laugh, Bacon, hahaha! Now I'm hungry!

BusyB - French knots  I haven't ready the chart properly yet, I just plunged right in. I hate the little pesky thinks, but never mind, they can wait until last.

I'm going to work on this for the next week probably and see how far I get by then. Another picture to come soon.

Beautiful design, I'll watch it with interest. I started a Dimensions petite a while ago, but it drove me mad with all the changes between the 1, 2, 3 strands, I was working in a pale sandy colour though and that didn't help. I'm hoping that watching you do it will encourage me to finish mine, I've got a frame for it and everything!!!
