I've just realised that I haven't posted a stash pic of April's Cottage. Dearie me and the colours are so pretty! Must put that right immediately

Image

And a close up of the actual cottage just so you can see how cute it will be with the rabbit and the carrots.

Image

Progress has been a bit slow on it so far as I've just lost the entire weekend to a migraine. From Wednesday afternoon to Sunday evening. All that stitching time lost. What a disaster. I'll have to restrict my internet time to make up for it

What a pretty cottage that one will be. I am looking forward to seeing it, first in an SAL and then as your avatar.

I'm sorry to hear about your migraine. I get those rarely now, but they're still killers. That is a lovely cottage for April!

This is another cutie! Sorry to hear about your migraine. I get them too. They can bring life to a complete standstill. Bah!

Such pretty stash!!!

Sending sympathy for the migraine. I used to have one a fortnight, pretty much knew that every other Tuesday was going to be a write off!!!! Then a friend of my mums said she had read somewhere that some people with migraines have a magnesium deficiency so I started taking magnesium vitamin pills and I'm now down to 2 or 3 a year ish.

I stopped taking them when I was pregnant and fortunately only had the odd one or two but within a month of being back at work after maternity leave the migraines were back with avengence, started taking the magnesium again and they've stopped!!!

Thanks! I hadn't heard about magnesium being a possible culprit. I'll look into that.

Its certainly worth a try.

When I first started taking them I took them solidly for a month, brought a pack of 30 and when I ran out I didn't replace them. I then had 3 migraines in a week!!!!!

By spending less time messing about on the laptop, I've managed to get the body of this stitched in record time. Just the two borders to do now.

Image

I'm just trying to imagine what that rabbit must be thinking, when faced with those huge carrots...

I'm tempted by the autoship myself, but then I do have quite a stash of DMC so I usually only have to order some of the threads, after checking to see what I already have. The discount is tempting though and it would save me having to obsessively stalk the website to see if the latest chart is in each month.

Have you seen June's? It's one of the nicest yet.

Looking great Carole, loving these cottages :)

I'm quite tempted by Patchwork Rabbit's LHN 2012 ornament autoship, but I have so many other things to kit up at the moment

Love April. You are doing a great job. June is going to be lovely to do also. What happened to May? Did I miss it?
