New WIP: Stars & Stripes According to Disney

Hello All

As you may have seen, i have finished my Lucky Cat and i am now moving onto a larger project.

I originally started this in 2006 and when i dug it out from under the dust, my aida had gone somewhat yellow and the threads had also turned a little funky. (bad of me i know) So i popped down to HobbyCraft and got some fresh aida and started over. My first photo is how it should look when complete and then the next one is what i did on Sunday after i had been to the shop.

If you want to see the original stitch i can put a picture up. Otherwise, this is my new one. 2 over 1 on 18count. (original was on 14count)



If you squint you can see the white stitch


and as always, back to work... you know, the thing we do between stitching

This pattern is adorable! You're brave to start white on white. I would have done some of the colors first and tackled the white a little while later. Good job!

I thought that. its more visible than the photo makes out though. the aida is a slight cream color to allow for that. the original aida was white on white and that was hard to spot and made my brain ache

Today's update.

I have started on some of the shadier areas.

On a more concerning note, i can't stop thinking about getting home to do more stitching! Is this normal?

Today's update.

I did some more shading on tuesday evening and the eyes last night after eating far too much at the chinese buffet in Wolverhampton.
Hope to do some more stitching tonight!

this is the first time I've seen this one and your doing a great job, the white really shows up well on the pictures, his eyes are great too
