Birds & Beasties by Sheepish Designs

Post by seedreemer »

This was going to be a SAL, but I finished it too quickly. I can't complain about that. I can't decide if I'm going to antique it or not. Any opinions? Stitched on 32-ct cream linen.

Hey!!! I like that! Simple but so effective. Really nice design that puts a different slant on a Sampler.

That is quite a nice finish. I can see why you wanted to finish it so quickly.

Thanks everyone! I'm especially pleased with this one for some reason. It'll get framed quickly. I'll post a pic.

Unusual and rather nice.

Just a query, is there a glitch in the fabric in the bottom half circle, just to the left of the reeds by the swan? Looks as if the extreme left column of stitches forming the bottom half circle angle outwards by one stitch. If it was a fabric glitch I'd be hopping.

Regards,

Richard.

Ooo, Richard, I'll have to check later on that. It does indeed look off, but I think it's where the fabric was bent/wrinkled for the photo. But I'll check later.....after it drives me nuts until then!

Surely I would have noticed something like that immediately. Right?

Hope it's a fold/crease in the fabric...
