Wow.. its been a year since I have worked on Mrs. Claus.
Here is her update.
I have stitched those little birds 3 times looking for the right color. Originally, they were a variegated grey white. But you could barely see them, they just blended right into the fabric. Then I tried with a light solid grey.. but again, it just faded into the background. Finally settled on this brown.

I am also looking for tips on working with Fuzzy Stuff floss by Rainbow Gallery. There is a little ball that goes on the end of her hat, and I was thinking I would use it on the bottom of her skirt.
