I know it's a little weird to be thinking of Christmas now, but this is a gift for a friend who collects nativity sets and I figure it might just take me until December from now to get it done.
After sorting through just about every nativity pattern I could find on the internet, I settled for this kit from Mill Hill. It will be my first time working on perforated paper AND my first time doing beading of any kind. Makes me a little nervous...

And here's the progress so far after a few hours in the car on the way to my grandfather's funeral. I'm hoping the beads will cover up those blank spots, because right now they're bugging me.

that is a great design and you have made a really good start on it. 
Hmmm..., good advice, I hadn't thought of that. Hope not washing my hands with I've done so far is okay. That would be terrible to ruin it.

I also find myself consistently distracted by a case of start-itis and wanting to move on to shiny new projects.
