I just noticed that the drawer was getting heavy so had a look to see why.  I have a bunch of new kits that I want to get going on but I'm not letting myself unless they are for a present. I've got no deadlines as such this year so far.

My UFO list looks a bit pathetic next to yours, so thanks for making me feel better about that :P

My box of finished projects that need framing of some sort however, now contains 25 pieces so that's my box of shame

Oh I'm glad I made you feel better haha!

If anyone can beat my UFO pile I'd be impressed lol.

Ah I wouldn't be ashamed at loads of lovely work finished. Unless you have some plans for the work I'd leave it unframed too. Maybe that's laziness on my part though.

I have to admit that my UFO pile looks meager next to yours, Amanda. And I don't have quite that many finished that need to be framed, though I definitely have a few in that drawer. I would have way way more if I hadn't been making afghans all those years before I joined the forum. And the reason I kept stitching on the afghans is because I couldn't see the point of framing everything. I didn't realize how useful they would be for throwing over the back of cat scratched furniture. Another advantage (or disadvantage, depending on your personal preferences) of stitching so many HAEDs is that I don't have to decide how to frame them or hang them very often.

I like the idea of an Afghan. Can keep warm while stitching too. I do have one in my drawer. I'm not adding that into the UFO pile just yet! I was just stitching a series from a magazine onto each square.

Haeds always look great, and take plenty time. I think advantage :D

   I don't know how you can stand to have all of those sitting around yelling for attention. The most UFO's I have ever had at one time was 5 and I worked on each one at least once every other week. I can not have them sitting and waiting for a finish they yell at me and then I feel guilty.

Oh dear....I think I have just about the same amount (or more!) of UFOs. I am going to continue pretending that they will all get done eventually hehe. I still have to finish the first project I started on linen that I HAD to start right away.

I hope you can dwindle your list down though and I look forward to seeing some finishes :)

:applesauce: :applesauce: Wonderful finish on that UFO! You are going to see those UFO numbers dwindling for sure. Might even get me to think about picking up a few of my own.
