I've done a bit more on Sunken Treasures. This is such a lovely design to stitch.

Image

I had a helper for some of it. First she got comfy on the instructions. Luckily I had the chart on my leg so I could still stitch.

Image

Then she decided she wanted some lap time and got underneath the stitching. This made me nervous as she's like lightning if she decides to pounce, and she does like to pounce on the threads.

Image

Precious Dreams has been restarted so I'll post an update on that one soon. I'm back on the Flower Sampler book at the moment as it was feeling a bit neglected.

What a pretty cat :) my cat sleeps at the end of my recliner, by my feet ... when she isn't sleeping on a bed or by a window ...
So many HAEDs I couldn't possibly list them all. Current favorites are Dragon Kin, Sea Unicorns (QS), April Fairy, What's This, Dahlia, and so many starts going on. Love to cross stitch! Find me on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/brekkana.kultiras

:applesauce: :applesauce: Beautiful update! That sampler is absolutely gorgeous. ( I really do need to get back to my Twisted Band Sampler. I've been avoiding it because of a counting issue.)

Not surprised that innocent looking furbaby finds instructions a good place for a quick nap before requiring the needed lap time. I'm lucky that neither of mine are thread addicted (Had one that was crazy about threads of all kinds once.) so the major issue is who gets the lap and if both are on the lap who gets the front etc. Just like kids in a car.

Great update!! and I have a cat that enjoys sleeping on the paper chart or instructions as well. Or the leftover fabric, or on my lap so I'm afraid I'll poke him. At least he's stopped batting the Qsnaps into my face....

I have an update on Precious Dreams. I was going to wait until I'd finished the first page, but I'm excited to have done something that isn't plain navy stitching, so here it is :P

Image

I'm over half-way through the first page so although I've slowed down quite a lot since I got to the different colours, I hope to get it done soon.

I like the colour of fabric that I've gone with. It's denim Jobelan and it's pale enough to have some contrast to the navy threads, making it easier to stitch, but dark enough that it doesn't show through. I'm doing tent stitch, 2 over 1 and I love it. Why have I never done that before? It is so much quicker

The obligatory Sammie photo. She's cuddled up to my leg

Image

It's a bit blurry as my phone defaults to very low resolution if I don't watch it. Hopefully not a problem now I've replaced the old phone with a shiny new iPhone :whoop:

:applesauce: :applesauce: Great progress and I think it looks really good on that fabric. The coverage seems perfect. I wish I had known more about tent stitching when I started my HAED addiction because the ones that I'm stitching that way certainly seem to go faster.

Sammie looks like she's having a wonderful rest while your stitching. Way too cute!

So cozy and comfortable Sammie looks I hope you don't disturb her too much. Alas no helper for me today, its come out very warm so I am guessing he has gone to his cool place for the day.

LOve the new colour appearing in Precious Dreams, its gorgeous and beautifully stitched too. A lovely update.
