Well of course Sammie needs a lot of attention and love at present, any trip to vet takes lots of loves once home and this was a biggie for her.

Hope she lets you do some stitching soon though you are making good progress on this lovely elegant sampler :applesauce: :applesauce:

Poor little fleabag.
She will need attention, but also to learn when not to demand it (like when you're doing stitching). All part of growing up.

Richard

 Your Sampler book!  :applesauce:

Poor Kitty! :kitty:  :kitty:  They do look so pathetic wearing those horrid collars!

When our Willow cut her back paw so badly a few years back she had to wear one...I had to trim it at the front as she was using it like a food scoop! We called her JCB for a while!

Poor kitty. The cone of shame is so terrible. One of mine got a cone after having a medical emergency a couple weeks ago. He made a pretty persuasive arguement against the cone about 12 hours in to what should have been a 2 week stint. Hope yours feels better soon.

I like the progress on your sampler. Im not a huge fan of samplers but this one is pretty.

I've done a bit more to the sampler, but haven't got any progress to report on anything else at the moment. I do have a very clean, tidy and incredibly well organised craft room though. I've pulled all the cabinets out and cleaned behind them, under them and inside them. Every bit of craft stash has been examined and either sent to the charity shop or organised into clear boxes inside the cabinets. I now have all the different crafts separated instead of all jumbled up, and I can get my legs under my desks when sewing or scrapping.

I also discovered a lot of cross stitch kits & kitted up charts that I'd pretty much forgotten about. Most of them I still love, so I'm keen to crack on and get stitching on them.

So, the sampler. I've now done this bit.

So now it looks like this -

I'm hoping to get that last corner done this week, and if Sammie obliges by going for her afternoon nap, I may even get the beading done too :whoop:

Sammie's cone is off now, much to her relief and she's doing great after the op. Her fur is growing back nicely so she'll soon be completely back to normal.

We're off to view some kittens tomorrow so she might be getting a little brother soon :D

Boy, you've been busy. Would you like to come organize my stuff?

The sampler is just gorgeous! I love the pretty stitching and the color and just everything about it.

Fingers crossed Sammie gets the perfect sibling.

:applesauce: :applesauce: Beautiful, elegant, delicate sampler!! And a tidy craft room! I am impressed.
Two kitties are a lot of fun once they start playing together, though mine who have always been together still have some serious sibling rivalry. But then they curl up together when they think I'm not watching. And just think how much more challenging stitching will be with two fur babies around!

Wow you certainly have been busy and its great when everything is organised again plus the added bonus of finding some old friends to stitch up soon.

Great that Sammie is back to her usual self and looking forward to seeing pics of your new kitten when he arrives home.
