Fields of Lavender Update 29.04 2020

Post by luv2craft2 »

Started this later than anticipated as I head a head cold which left me with watery eyes for a while but here is the new one I will do in rotation with Village Canal

Edited version as I have made photos larger

The threads are better on this kit, up to Dimensions usual standard. The Village Canal kit must have been a batch of rogue threads as I have not had one like that before from Dimensions

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I love the colour palette for this design, such varied hues. The person who designed this kit, Sung Kim, is the same person who did the Village Canal. He does beautiful works of art as well as designing kits.

Didn't realise I'd done so much until I looked at previous photo yesterday. This is the best I can do although it looks like small white dots here & there where thread has not covered complete squares in the close up, mostly the darkest of the greens I noticed this when I was stitching although it cannot be seen when looking at it normally so should be Ok when it is completed No one will hold a magnifying glass up to look at it

A going to stop this for a while now & go back to my other one

Great progress! Love this one!
I wouldn't worry about white dots! This picture is meant to be viewed from it's place on the wall. If anyone takes a magnifying glass to it, apart from a judge at a show, then turn them away without a cuppa! :tea:

So pretty! And don't worry about white dots in photographs - the camera shows up all sorts of things that the naked eye will never notice. Useful if you're scrutinising your work for stray cat hairs though...

Thank you everyone for kind comments.

Not done anything since I added update but now I have new glasses I should be OK to get on with village canal. Have bought a few tings though. One being I have caved in & bought a Bothy Threads kit - Bibunni To Do List. Waiting for it to come. Will put things bought on Acqusitions when that arrives. Seem to be drawn to cute bunnies at the moment. Have been looking at Mouseloft Stitchlets& been drawn to bunny ones too but so far not bought any. Probably will in a while. Well I should own up & say I know I will!!
