My WIP - Reflection

Post by splash »

I started my new project on Sunday and thought I'd share my progress, since I enjoy seeing everyone else's.

I'm working on a project from Artecy called "Reflection". I'm doing it on 18 count aida, which will make it 14 x 10.5 inches (35.56 x 26.67 cm).

What it should look like when it's finished:

Image

The pattern is 5 pages wide and 3 pages tall, so it will take me quite awhile to complete, but that's ok with me.

This is what I've completed so far. For some perspective, I've completed the first row of the first page.

And a closeup.

This is beautiful! I’m also doing an Artecy project (which I’ve put away for a while), I love their landscapes designs.

That'll be nice when finished. Just gorgeous.
Looks a bit like 'Bow Lake' in the Banff National Park in Canada did in 1987 when I passed. The day was breathtakingly still, and the snow on the mountains... That is so evocative.

Want to go back & see it again.
Now.

Regards,

Richard.

Just what I was thinking. I took similar photos at Bow Lake and also at Lake Louise. I'd go back to the Canadian Rockies in a heartbeat.

This is lovely and you have made an excellent start, well done. Love Artecy charts going to do a couple later this year - Leonid Afremov ones.
Take care and happy stitching
