Dimensions - Silent Flight - Updated June 25, 2016

Post by Imme »

I started this one back on January 19, 2010; however, due to tax session I have not been able to take pictures much less post any pictures. Any spare time I did have to spend on cross stitching I spent...cross stitiching  , amazing, I know .

This one will measure 16" x 11" when completed and is done on 18 count. For the most part it is half cross stitches, except for the eagle, which is full stitches.

I decided to try and start this one in the top left corner instead of in the middle like I normally do. I must have counted it out a half dozen times to make sure I start in the right spot.

Anyway, here is a picture of what it will look like when it is completed and a picture of my supplies once I had them all organized and ready to go back in January.

...and here is where I am at right now. So far it is just sky and about 4,500-5,000 stitches which isn't much for three monthes (I think) but considering the time of year, I'm happy with the progress.

My eagle!! haha sorry.. that was my first response to seeing this. This eagle was such a pleasure to stitch. I think you've done an amazing job for it being such a busy season!

It is a beautiful design, I am doing a similar one, the eagle is at a different angle, it will soon grow and you will see the benefit of all your stitching.

How pretty! The way the sky is shaping right now gives a really interesting effect.

Just wanted to do a quick update on my progress.

More sky done but it seems endless. The top of the tallest mountain is just below from where I am now. I am just going to try and get all the sky on the top left side done first. Then the mountains will bring in new colours, so I am looking forward it.
