Here is where I am. I have been working on a different project this week-end so my hope of finishing today is not going to happen.

I won't be putting up any SAL stuff for a while. I am working on the edging for my son's table runner and after that I have 2 afghans to make as presents for Christmas. Once those are done I will be back to make more cards if there is time. These other gifts are more important at the moment though so have to get them done.

So that means you won't be putting up any more pictures of this stuff... That's too bad... I rather like seeing your work...

Not sure if it is alowed to do this but my current SAL is a crochet project. I am making an afghan for my daughters boyfriend. Image It is going a bit slow with the finger but I am getting on. You can't really tell but the 3 strips are 3 different colors off-white, brown and sage.

All SAL' are welcome I think, let's face it we LOVE to see what you're up to!! It must be a real labour of love, what with your poorly finger, I'm sure he'll be thrilled.

I learned to knit first and did quite a few projects in my teens but one I learned crochet I went with it. I feel it is faster and if I make a mistake (which I do frequently) it is much easier to pull out and restart. Plus I was just a very basic knitter. Knit and purl only.
