Some of the silks I've been getting to experiment in could only be bought in sets of six, which is all right if they are solid colours and come from a range from which you might like to buy more shades, but most of these were variegated, and two or three skeins of each will do me fine.
So in order to finance my ever-growing silk-habit

I am putting the others up here; as I said, they are not from a range with lots of colours, so not suitable if you want to build up a collection of silks in matching shades, but if you'e been thinking of trying silks, or if you just like variegated threads, have a look at these.

All of these are Italian spun stranded silks. They are all full 8m skeins except for the last two in row 3, which are about 2/3 of a skein.
Top row: three olive greens, 10-stranded, almost metallic in sheen.
Second row: 5-stranded, quite a good lustre.
Third row: 4-stranded, more subtle sheen.
Fourth row: 16-stranded (very fine strands) high-lustre silk.
There is also one 15m reel of Au Ver a Soie olive green Soie Ovale, a flat filament silk with a lovely sheen which they unfortunately sent me in the wrong colour.
The full skeins of Italian silk are 75p for one, £1.40 for two, or £2 for three.
Postage is 27p if I take them off the bobbins; if you'd prefer to have them ready-wound they'll have to go as a large letter at 42p.
The two other skeins are £1 for the two, the Soie Ovale £1
