My good deed of the day

Post by K1nS »

Well last night around 1am, me and Dean was in bed and heard this guy (who sounded really drunk) shouting away and what we thought was someone. Then we heard the sound of like chains, he was shouting 'you better stay here!' but no one was shouting back at him which just sounded strange... anyways after about 15 mins, he seemed to have gone away. Then we heard a dog crying so loud but just ignored it.. but it just carried on. Dean got up to look out the window to see if he could see anything but couldnt so he got back in bed, but the crying just kept going on. I told Dean we would have to go out and see what was happening. When we got out, there was a poor dog tied up with a chain to the railings at the side of the road, no one was around so we thought it couldnt have been put there while its owner went off and did anything. Lucky enough, the police was just going past doing their rounds so we shouted them over to tell them about the poor dog and they took it to put in the police kenels for the night.

How horrible for someone to just do that to a poor dog, in the middle of the night too. If we hadn't of heard it crying, it would have been there since this morning in the freezing cold :(

Some people just shouldn't be allowed to keep pets - assuming it even is his dog. How awful. Well done you two for helping to save this poor animal.

Yeah thats what I like to think, the poor dog would have been left out all night in the freezing cold :(

I just don't understand why people can do this to a living thing

It was so lucky for the poor dog that you heard something going on and went to see. Some people are so cruel, I hope the dog is found a loving home.

They so oh they are just dumb animal. Poo on that the ones that are dumb are the humans that think it is ok to abuse an animal just because they are so called smarter. People are so stupid. Thanks to you both for taking the time to rescue this poor thing.

poor poor dog. My boyfriends mum and dad have 5 dogs and a cat that they've rescued - it's a real place for waifs and strays at their house!!

Did anyone hear about the two puppies that a group of kids were trying to roast on a bonfire in Rochdale, Lancashire? Horrendous. How can anyone do something like that!!
