That's fantastic! Congrats, Mr. Xstitch!
Re: Congrats
Congratulations Mr X. Are you going to be the new Norman? I saw he had written his last column and wonder if you are taking over?

I just think it's great that some men actually cross stitch - lovely to see that it can be enjoyed by everyone.

Re: Congrats
Excellent article me and my hubby, who is an HGV driver know of a couple of HGV drivers who stitch regularly on their nights away from home in their truck cabs, a relaxing antedote to the rigours of driving and delivering all day. I would love to see a regular Mr Xstitch column in CS

Hey well done Mr X Stitch - congratulations!!
Had a look at your blog - some amazing stuff (what WAS that My-Little-Pony-meets-Edward-Scissorhands?!).
Particularly liked your 5" frame 'spam' projects!

Re: Congrats
Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the plaudits. It's all a bit bonkers really.
I got talking with Emily Peacock at the show in Olympia, and one thing led to another and here we are.
I'm not sure that I'll be taking over from Norman directly, as I understand that they got another columnist lined up (a lady who does cartoons I think) but there certainly is a man-shaped void there now. Perhaps if they get lots of emails and comments saying how great my piece was, they might reconsider..!
Anyway, I'm just waiting to hear from them about doing some more columns, and we'll go from there.
And I'm glad you like my website - it's going really well, and it's success is the primary reason why you've not heard much from me lately, as there are just not enough hours in the day. Do keep coming along and posting comments and such like on there.
And watch this space - I'm not finished yet!

That was a very nice article a bit of a humour to it and well put together. I tried to send a comment but my e-mail was a bit wonky this am so will try again later. They asked for comments so I thought it might help you and we can see more articles from our forum man......
