Does anyone complete projects? i will pay??

Post by tiptree »

Can anyone help me.
I want to find someone to stitch a project i have bought for a gift for my mum. I did find a lady who turned out to be a fraud who took my money, fabric and threads and never returned it ... so im a little upset..

But i need to get it stitched for a gift for my mum's 60th which was four months ago.. hence my fraud woman!!

Can anyone advise anyone who stitches for a living who i could contact and trust???

Thank you :0)

Hi I am so sorry to hear that you had such a terrible experience. It is really sad when people think that lying and cheating is ok.

We just had one of our own members ask about stitching for others her user name is Ernie2jess. You could maybe send her a PM or I see she has an e-mail address you could send her a message and see if the two of you could come to some sort of idea. Just click on her name and it will send you right to her information.

This would be an agreement between the two of you and the board would not be responsible for the transaction but I think she would be happy to talk to you about stitching for you.

Good luck I hope you can work this out.

Also another member you could ask if Ernie2Jess can't for some reason is coffee-freak. That's truly awful about the lady who fleeced you, honestly. Hope you can get some help.

That's such a shame that you were defrauded like that!! It brings such a bad name to the wonderful hobby of Cross stitch. I do hope that you can get some one to stitch the project for you.

yes I do stitch for others. I have and am currently. I assume you would need it asap? depending on what it looks like, how big, etc. I could stitch it at the same time as I am only doing small card designs at the moment.
since you were ripped of before i would not charge much more than shipping..but again it depends on the size and how complex it is.
you can give me a picture of it..that would help.
thanks!

Have a look at the newest newsletter from Nordic Needle. It has a section dealing with pricing stitching which you might find helpful. www.nordicneedle.com/newsletters/_200/204.shtml

I just saw the link to the project...and its gorgeous. I would love to be a part of this great piece of art. I usually just ask people how much they can offer me and when they need it by. PM or e-mail me and we'll talk. Jessica.Lopez@Exterran.com

i've done that before been years ago - stitched an Owl on black 14 ct. Aida

For 50.00 , Plus they provided me 10.00 extra for the floss, cloth and frame. I left them speechless with the finshed work.

I thought about doing so again. I enjoy CS so.

I don't wanna do black aida again lol and its hard to fine now.

Good luck..
