Hi Carol, so pleased you joined our ranks!! I've been to Canvey Island, it left a bad taste in my mouth... literally, I tried jellied eels there..... ewww!!! Apart from that I had a great time there!

How come you visited Canvey? I am stitching a santa teddy bear and then i am doing a robin. Both are for my friend to give as presents to her grandchildren. what are you stitching?

DH and I just went on a day trip, he had run some races there in his younger fitter days and it was a really sunny day so we decided to take the dog and have a run out there, stopped and had some lunch in a pub on the way, pottered about in the rock pools, and then sampled the seafood.

I'm stitching a sampler for my mum and dad's 30th Anniversary at the moment, and I have 2 others on the go, that I havn't spent much time on the last 2-3 weeks.

Would love to see what you're working on. Have you thought about putting any pics up in the gallery or the SAL section? We love ooh and ahh over everyone's work!!
