Great Galleries

Post by Rose »

I have been in to the gallery section and over the last few days there have been some wonderful pictures added.

Racheal the Hardanger looks good.

Ivanputz you have some very nice works. I am a big fan of Goffy and the christmas one is a really great picture.

And everyone else it is great to see all of your work in both the gallery and in our SAL section.

Thanks Mags and Jilly!

When I was on earlier there was just one in your gallery. Wow you have some really great designs and the Miribliea ones are no easy stitch. They are great. Thanks for sharing.

The pics in your gallery are really nice Alyson. It's nice that you make gifts for other people. I quit doing that when I'd make a piece for someone and they'd end up not hanging it on their walls. :(

I understand about your work not being appreciated.I'm very careful who I make cross stitches for and especially careful on lace projects. My first big cross stitch piece was for my roommate from college for their wedding. When we saw it hung basically behind their dining room hutch, my husband wanted to bring it home, take their names out and have me put our names in. It hurts and hard to understand when you know how much it takes to do something like these and especially hard when you care for the person. So now, I do them for people that I know will appreciate it. Well, let's hope our stuff is appreciated going forward and if not....we'll keep it for ourselves!

Hi Alyson,

I think my favourite of your work is the herbs, really delicate - however, all your work is lovely.
