Murphy's Law or something like that.

Post by Rose »

If it was not for bad luck we would have no luck at all.

That is how I feel. My son called last night from Kuwait. The airplane that is shuttling his unit back to the states made the first trip and left off the first group in Colorado. It then headed to St Louis for a quick check of systems and because of the storms in the mid-west it is now stranded in St Louis. They had all their bags loaded on the trucks and they were sitting on the busses to head for the pick-up site. Their commander came on the bus and told them to unload. They don't know when the plane will be released or when they can get out. We had to cancel our trip out to meet him.

Everything is up in the air.

That is a shame Rose, but at least he is on home soil, That should give you some comfort. I hope you see him soon,

I hope he makes it home soon Rose, how frustrating for you!

But what a great place to be stranded! I would say that wouldn't I?

Yes he will eventually be home but it is so frustrating.

He was not one of the first unit out so he is still in Kuwait. Only the first group of 150 got to Colorado,(thier final destination) the plane was on the way back to pick up the next group (his group) when it got stranded.

It was in Kuwait that they were told to unload and wait.
