My LNS owner tried to convince me into buying one by saying "you like the little needlework toys...." needless to say, I don't have one. I do have a similiar gadget from the same people that make the stiitch blade though and it is helpful for those tiny little ends.

I am a tight stitcher so I wonder if it would go under my stitches, I even use a size 28 needle on just about every project unless there are metallics or pearl threads.
Not sure of the size from the photos.

A Dololly is a little gizmo to pull the loose ends under the other stitches at the back of your work, part of it looks like a needle threader, the other is a hook
I do wonder if a needle threader may work just as well.

I use the needle too, never had any trouble with loose ends.

I have something called a Star Detailor it is a long loop of fine metal, you thread the metal through the back of stitches , hook the end in the metal and pull the ends under the row.. Is that what it is??
I usually end up just using a loop of thread on a needle,, pass the end through and put it under the row. Does that make sense, :?: :?:

I'm with Rachael and Ekidna!  I can see, though, that it might be useful when you have been determined to get that last stitch in the one colour into that row and left almost nothing in the needle...
