i'm looking for some good punch needle freebies..
my mom got me a small kit and a punchneedle..and i do like it..
for those nights i don't want to count....
i found some weavers cloth to use but id love to get some free patterns..as the kits are expensive! lol..i'm not that good at it yet..
sooo anyone?

So, I'm wondering what punch needle is exactly and how it works. From what I saw...I thought it was like needlepoint. Is the design preprinted on the canvas that you use?

All I know about it is you need new stuff for it and my LSO has been trying for years to get me involved and since she's the one that got me turned on to lace making I'm thinking she's just a pusher! JUST SAY NO

heehee..yeah all new threads..
but i have to say i ran out of the 1st color i started with..made some mistakes so i pulled the thread out..it's sooo kinked that you can't re use it...so i found a perfectly matching color in DMC floss..and it works fine..looks the same..
sooo i may just do the smaller pieces with DMC and not really buy into the special threads..lol
you do need specail fabric called weavers cloth..pretty close to linen but more stiff.

anyway..it's about 50% done and it is looking good.
i'll post pcs when done
