Hoping...

Post by mags »

Hoping to do some stitching tomorrow.

Last night I was doing battle with a leaky biro and got in such a mess I daren't touch my stitching.

Tonight I cut my finger and didn't want to get blood all over it.

Looking forward to tomorrow :?

Glad someone else asked about a Biro....couldn't even guess what it was...sounds like some kind of plumbing!

Hope your finger heals fast.

Sorry to those that didn't understand the word "Biro".

I thought it was common knowledge that Mr Biro (Laszlo Josef Biro from Hungary) invented the ball point pen and here in the UK we refer generally to ball points as biros. :?

Anyway thanks for all your sympathy - I haven't had any accidents yet today so am planning on starting my owl this evening :D

Oh I am very excited to see the Owl. I really like the Pussy Cat. Have you been looking for a ship that you can convert to a Beautiful Pea Green Boat.

Not doing a ship - but am thinking about doing the poem in blackwork. Got the alphabet sorted, just need to plot it all out. I shall have to do it on 16# Aida rather than 14# though as I can't fit it to a similar size.

Started the owl last night - have gridded off the material and pattern as I did with the cat. There are a lot more colours in the owl - I didn't know where to start  , chose top left :?
