And if it does arrive on the 5th, just call it a St Nicholas present :-)

Think of 1st December as less of a deadline and more of a guideline :) I'm sure no-one is going to hold anyone to it rigidly or be deeply deeply disappointed if gifts turn up later in the month, the point of this whole exercise is to have fun and exchange gifts in a completely made-up-for-this-forum holiday, so enjoy it and if you don't get a chance to send your gifts out in double-quick time, they'll still get sent out and will still be very much appreciated I'm sure!

Serinde, I could kiss you! They're beautiful. I mean, really, I like practical things to make out of my cross stitch, I like Mackintosh designs, I lost the robin I had on my keyring last month (which I'm still annoyed about but that's another story for another time), the Mackintosh keyring kit couldn't be more perfect!

Pics are uploading to photobucket now so will be posted in the "lookie" thread soon :D

Don't worry Dawn, remember, this is supposed to be enjoyable! We all know that life can kick in big time, and as Stashmas was invented on this forum, the date was pretty much picked out of a hat anyway :-) so as KK said, no-one will mind receiving their Stashmas present a few days (or more, if things get in the way) later!

Well I am slightly upset and p*ssed off to be honest. I sent out my stashmas gift to Valb last Friday, first class so by rights she should have got it on Monday at the latest. I have given it a few days hoping that it would have arrived and still no news. I PMd Val yesterday morning just asking if she has actually reveiced it, she has read the PM but I haven't got a reply from her :thinks: Now I went to quite alot of effort in getting her gifts and would really have appretiated her at least replying to me then I knew if it had arrived or not.... i'm starting to think she may have got her gifts but didn't like what I got for her

Hi K1ns

So sorry I didn’t reply to your PM – sometimes the work/life balance trips me up and I’m not always as organised as I should be!. To be honest I think I just missed your message amidst the chaos of daily life. I did receive it thank you very much and very much like what you sent to me. I have got everything I need to start the beautiful fairy in the next few days, along side the big cats I am doing with Threadbear.

Will be more careful next time!
