I know a bunch of members did the mitten swap last year, well there's a whole bunch of egg designs too nd I wondered if anone would like to take part in a similar swap with those.

Easter falls on 4th April this year.

THE "RULES"
- You can use any of the designs on the link, or you can design one yourself using the outline template.

- You can use any count of fabric / perforated paper / whatever you like. Your only limit (size-wise) is the outline design of the egg.

- You can finish it howeve you like - ATC, bookmark, bag, ornament, coaster - the only limit is your imagination!

- You can stitch it at any time, but you must be finished (and indicated on this thread that you have finished) stitching by Friday 26th March in order to send it out for 4th April.

- On Friday 26th March, everyone who has indicated they have finished stitching will be allocated another person who has also finished, giving them a full week or so to get the address of that person and post it so that it should stand a very good chance of arriving with the recipient by 4th April.

- Anyone who has not indicated that they have finished stitching by 26th March will be assumed to have pulled out and not be allocated anyone, I'm afraid, as I want to make sure that all who send will also receive.

You are responsible for getting the address for your recipient so drop them a PM asking for contact details. Hopefully the majority of the eggs will arrive with their recipients in time for Easter on 4th April, so please do respond to your address request promptly and post your egg as soonas possible. I know not all the eggs will arrive by that time, but I hope most of them will.

The mittens were finished in a variety of ways, so I guess the egg finishing would be up to the individual too.

As for size, you could use any count of fabric - the size is only limited by the stitch count. You would either choose one of the designs from the site or use the outline and design your own egg within those confines.

I'm up for this.

okay i read the link for the mitten swap but it kept talking about atc did i not go far enough. How does this work exactly. I mean ive done tons of swaps before. Do you just stitch an egg and make it into say an ornament, mug rug, coaster, hotplate????? etcc.

I'm in, just hoping it doesn't start until after the snow ATC. I want to get my new supplies and see what fun I can come up with
