He's lovely. I used to have a cat who liked to sit on any needlework I happened to put down for a minute - but I would not have dared to move him! Like you, I had to gently coax him off.

I suppose it is just as well that we weren't stitching when my Son's Doberman was with us.

Have you ever tried doing someting when a great lummox like that wanted your attention?

You couldn't exactly pick him up and put him on the floor!!

My thee cats are the same Angel. They sit on my lap and try to grab the thread when it is at the back. And I am also too soft to move them because I love kitty cuddles too. :kitty:

I used to be a cat person...not that I don't love them now..but my chihuahua has changed my mind.

he has to be in my lap too! I had some left over yarn from my kniffy knitter accident (tried making a blanket turned out completely wrong) anyways he grabbed the yarn ball and took off running through the house...when I didn't chase him to get it...he stopped and looked like...why aren't you coming after this...then started pulling at the thread unwinding it...i still didn't care...finally he gave up and came and sat in my lap like...man...i can't do anything to get her attention...even now...as my hubby is trying to study the crazy thing is walking up and dropping his toy in the book in his lap so that my hubby will throw it for him LOL.

Oh he is adorable.   I had a chihuahua as a kid and he was such a hoot when you would ignore him he would walk over and wrap himself around your leg so you could not move.

I'm with Frank!! And I have three cats who I love to pieces!

But I am afraid my stitching is sacrosanct and NOTHING - animal, vegetable or mineral - is allowed anywhere near it without extreme caution and supervision. I don't invest that much time in a project to have it ruined by claws, sticky fingers, red wine drops or anything else! :D

 If only that worked with mine, nothing can wake him up quite so well as me getting out my computer or my stitching.
