My Hubby the other night he was so funny he had me crying I was laughing so hard. Very long story and you really had to actually be there to get it but yes hubby was the last thing I laughed about

Do you allow your animals on the furniture? My great dane has her own couch and has for all her life. THe other animals all SHARE  the chairs and couches with us. As a matter of fact we usually have a hard time finding a place to sit as we don't want to disturb them. So silly of us. Spoiled animals.

Anything with Sylvester Stalone. I have never seen Rocky, or any of the sequals.. I just cannot stand him and could not sit through 5 minutes of a movie with him.

What is the longest time you have spent on a project?
Most of my projects are no bigger than a piece of paper. And I usually only work on one at a time. I would say I spend 3-4 months on them. I think I am ready to tackle a larger project, I just have to find a design that I absolutely love.. and will still love after all that time I spent on it.

13 months, though that was with an almost 3 month stitching break in there. I tend to do big projects though, so I expect them to take in the region of a year to complete depending on size, amount of backstitch, blends etc. I love seeing the detail of a large project appear and the realism keeps me interested throughout the life of it.

What's your favourite cocktail?

Day I dislike - Monday! It's the whole getting up early to go to work after the weekend, with the whole week stretching out in front before the next weekend thing. My office is really quiet too so we don't get any banter about what everyone did at the weekend to cheer us up.

Day I like - Saturday - I can have a bit of a lie in and whilst I try and get the chores done in the morning, I have the afternoon for stitching and there's no work the next day.

When you're not cross stitching what do you most like to do in your free time?

I like to read or crochet/knit.

If you had a stitch fairy and was allowed one wish what would it be. Mine would be for someone to do my UFO so I could start with a clean slate.

Oh, I would love for the UFO fairy to visit me too. She could finish the window design that I tried to work on last night for UFO week. Sadly, somewhere my counts are off and things are not lining up.. yikes I see this could take a bit of :anotherfrog: to finish. Perhaps this is why I quit working on it and put it away 5-6 years ago. Or maybe my stitching fairy could just do the frogging bits so I could start again.

If you could try your hand at any career what would it be? Nevermind those sticklers such as education, licensing, or experience on a subject. I would like to be an event planner. I think I would be good at throwing a party, organizing transportation, booking hotels and restaurants.

Either - something with animals, vet nurse/assistant or something like that - or a writer - would love to see books I'd created on the shelves and to think that people would get absorbed into a story and characters I'd created (of course I mean a fairly successful writer, not a struggling one!)
I wouldn't like a stitchy career, I don't think... I wouldn't want to have to get things done for deadlines, or to give them away!

What was the last colour of thread you stitched with? I am on silvery green for my ghost-cats :D

The One Show (tv programme in the UK)

What book are you reading at the moment? I'm reading a book called "The Winter Rose" by Jennifer Connelley. It's really good and can hardly put it down. :)

Heck with that I would save my finished work the charts for the most part could be replaced and later stitched.

Do you dust before vacuuming or do you dust after?

Hubby says you should do it first so you can pick up any dirt that just drops. I say you dust after incase the vac leaves dust in the air and it falls on the surfaces.
