So you know how people have this idea about cross stitch?

Hehe Mags. I'm the same! I can't see through my specs if it's right in front of me (laptop, a computer, stitching, book etc), but I need them to see something a little way away (the other two computers at work, the tv). I'm a nodding doggie.

I've got you all beat. I can't see anything without my glasses or contacts but I'm also at the age that I can't see much close up either. I've got bifocal contacts and they've really helped except for stitching. I need my reading glasses for that as well but I see better to stitch without anything.....but then I cant' see the chart or tv!

I'm the opposite way round, I need mine for close work like stitching, reading etc but then when I look up at things it's all a blur.

I tend to stitch early morning before everyone gets up, after hubby goes off to work, or late at night/early hours.
It's the quietest time I get. I do try in the evenings sometimes too, but without fail everyone wants me to do something or needs for something ... :x

I was stitching 'til 3am this morning ... I think I might be becoming obssessed.
