I think I posted some mothers day cards in the old thread but there were two that I only just finished on the weekend, one for Paul's nan

the siluette is from crossstitcher I think (not the current issue but the one before) and the bird (blue tit?) is from crossstitch collection, again not the current issue but the one before (or possibly 2 issues ago if one has just come out). They are both stitched on 16 count Aida, but I dyed the siluette with Dylon 'sunflower yellow'. I'm really starting to enjoy dying my own fabrics :)
