My Gaia

Post by Nachstenliebe »

She's finally been "framed"
Image

My husband had an idea on how to frame her.. he wanted to back it on a piece of wood.
I'm not happy he used tacks though... I strictly told him not to do that :x But it looks nice..
Faith
It wasn't showing up for me either...

:thinks: :thinks: not the ideal way of attaching it perhaps, but it does look great!

She's lovely!

I like the way of mounting her - kinda organic like Gaia herself.

There's a link to order the pattern from if anyone is interested. It certainly was enjoyable to stitch and just like an HAED except with little to no confetti. The only thing that I found difficult was that symbols in likeness were close together and it was sometimes a headache.

What a wonderful piece. The framing does look good even if hubby did use tacks

One or both of us would be dead if someone tried to frame my stitching like that...but...it does look really good.

Faith it looks fantastic! What beautiful stitching!

Maybe he can redo the mounting and remove the tacks and lace it instead? It does look great though! :applesauce:
