STASHMAS 2010

Post by Kute Kitty »

Ladies and gentlemen and stashmas enthusiasts,

57 people have signed up for stashmas this year. PMs have been sent to all 57 of you, giving a brief reminder of what your obligations for stashmas are. Please reply to your PM by Sunday 10th October (that's one week from today) to confirm that you're happy to stay in and keep up to those obligations. After Sunday 10th October I'll post up a list of everyone who is definitely in, Kell and I will split that list in half and we'll start writing out to people to tell you who you're sending a gift to :) Don't forget the wishlist thread, let people know what you'd like in it and check what your recipient would like from it.

Hope that's all clear as mud and that you all continue to enjoy the ride :)

Replies are actually coming in faster than I can respond to them but I'm trying to acknowledge them all! I'm going to do my best to acknowledge all messages the same day they're sent but I work full-time and I've got a lot on at home lately (all good...but what's free time again?) so if I've not acknowledged your message after 48 hours please assume I've missed it and chase me up. I won't be offended :)

I think someone asked if we're asking for street addresses or just emails at this point - right now we're just asking for email addresses, after we've got a confirmed list of everyone who's participating (next week) we'll be splitting that list in to half, Kell will sort out one half and I will do the other, and we'll be sending out messages again then to ask for your street addresses and let you know who you'll be sending to. Thank you everyone for being so great with this :)

Of the 57 members who expressed an interest in stashmas, one has had to pull out for personal reasons, 5 have not yet got back to me, and 51 so far are in! This is going to be the biggest stashmas yet!

This must be quite a task sorting it out with so many stashmas friends joining in, so thanks KK and Kell for all the time you are spending sorting it.

There's just one person I haven't heard back from yet so I'm giving her until the end of today (it's 9am here now) and after that will confirm the list and Kell and I will start assigning people :)

Right, 57 people initially signed up for Stashmas. Since then one has had to pull out for personal reasons and one did not reply to my message asking for confirmation that she's still in so has been taken off the list. That leaves 55 enthusiastic people, so we'll get working on assigning you all to each other. Look out for another message coming to your inbox soon!
