Thank you everyone. Faith that is exactly what my wonderful son said to me yesterday on the phone. He said what's one birthday if it means he has me for many many more.
I phoned him from the hospital ward and all the other patients and visitors all sang happy birthday. He was really chuffed and said how lovely it was to be sung to by loads of strangers!

I agree with Faith. Just think how sweet his sweet sixteen will be with his Mum all healthy and well.
I think of you almost every day Liz!!
It must be awful losing your hair, especially as it is the bit you love best about yourself, maybe part of it is stress if the treatment doesn't usually cause it.
Keep your chin up and remember there is always an ear and a shoulder here for you.

Liz I am so sorry that you are going through this I only caught up on this thread today. I work in a hospital and see so many patients that have cancer and have had chemo and radiation. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, it may seem like a long road and that the tunnel is dark for a long time but the end is so worth it. Keep up your positive attitude. Remember we are all here as your cheering section and whenever you need us we are here to give you a boost. Keep your chin up. :rainbow:
