Thank you all. But Serinde, the plural will only be valid if I really finish the second half of the pair as well
I will, though.

This is my daughter, Eszter, wearing them. Do you reckon she likes them? :D :D

And another piece I knitted, as an experiment: a lacy bookmark. It has already found its real owner.

Knitting is a total and utter mystery to me. I get knots, not purls. :? The bookmark is very lacey -- did you really knit it with needles? Amazing.

I have been really bad today - just spent a lot of money (well, not that much but more than what I can really afford - so typical  ) on yarn. Well, Boyfriend  needs a new vest for Christmas - I really hope there will be time enough to make it. There is even hope that I might give it to him in person, he wants to buy me a plane ticket. Here is hoping he can get a cheap one. :x: And then I just happened to enter a so called Euro-shop, everything is for one Euro (a bit more, but you get the idea) -and found some lovely coloured yarn, those with big bulky knots - had to buy them for this price, didn't I? Well, I am afraid stitching will have to wait a bit now, I am on my knitting track at the moment. :) More cablework, methinks.

So sorry Agi but I didn't think to post the bookmark on here. It is truly lovely and so delicate and lacy. You must have used very small needles to make it. It is even more delicate than the photo shows. I keep looking at it and know some but not all the stitches.

Both your daughter and her gloves are lovely. We'll be waiting to see the new yarns all knitted up.

Knitting stash: the ones I bought at the Euro-shop:
Image

There are two balls of crochet thread - I am really hopeful about my crochet - but haven't done anything worth showing yet :)

And this is something I received as a gift from a friend:

Don't know what I will do with them yet.

Didn't photograph the darg grey yarn I bought for Boyfriend's vest (or in Britain, waistcoat, as I have recently learned), nothing interesting about it. Will show you the progress though.

Thank you. I hope she will like it. She asked for a black and green striped scarf... I used many different greens I have and a variegated one, and the stripes are not straight... I hope she likes it, you can never tell with her

Well, my daughter liked the scarf a lot. And my boyfriend likes the vest (waistcoat? sweater? whatever) I made for him for Christmas.

Or perhaps you would like to see the whole picture?
