I have picked up 'Tiger on the Rock' after about a years break from it-Now I remember why!!It has alot of colour changes so im working with about 10 threaded needles, and it's slow progress! It will be worth it at the end though!
This is how it will hopefully look at the end!
Impressive design. What a wonderful picture and so dramatic on the black. You have done a great deal of work with us encouraging you it should be done in no time.
So when is the next progress picture???

"The world, as a colourful knot of threads, has turned into a memory, and now you cannot be sure whether it was real." (Géza Ottlik, Hungarian writer)
Its been slow progress this last few days, unfortunalty i've only has about two hours of stitching time! I could have done a few more hours last night but had a delivery of 100 new threads(and got very excited ), and was to busy putting them on bobbins
But I have done the next 'section' of rock,so think im more than half way though-yey! Think I will have to save the pennies for a day light lamp I think, finding it difficult to see on the black in the evenings!!
Oh I was like that when I got some threads and bits. It's so exciting to get it all sorted and see your collection of bobbins grow!
Looking forward to seeing a progress picture soon.

Okay I know I'm probably being really stupid here, but as someone who's always used kits with ready-carded threads, I just wondered what you mean by winding onto bobbins. What am I missing ??

When you buy floss skeins some of use also like to buy the plastic bobbins that DMC sells and wind the thread on to it. It makes it easier to work off of. No tangled thread. This is a link to what they look like.
