Ideas....

Post by katstitcher »

It is my birthday next week and hubby wants a list of things I would like. I was thinking another cross stitch kit (I have lots but there is always one more kit!) I was looking at the Owl from Vervaco, another Tiger kit..... maybe a nice landscape/sea scene.... decisions decisions ... anyone else have any good ideas?

A variety of different coloured fabrics that you would not normally buy for yourself. Silks (gain advice from Mabel) again choosing something that you would love but not normally buy.

No ideas, but I would second your own choices of a landscape/seascape or a tiger....and hope you start on it soon as I want to see your progress! lol

I like RosemaryH's ideas but another idea would be some nice storage boxes (maybe something in wood) or a nice bag to transport your needlework if you go on holiday etc. :)

Trying different threads and fabrics is a great idea, I've had so much fun trying new things! So many news things to try.
Also is there a frame you want or storageboxes, scissors, a hardanger kit to try or a special cross stitch one. Cross stitch pattern software (if you fancy having a go at making your own charts).

What a wonderful hubby!! And wow, how lucky are you!! :D
I like Faith's idea. There is so much you could ask for... Maybe construct a list of the things you'd like and he could pick what he gets for you. That way, its still something you want, but also remains a suprise :D (and for all you know - he might copy the list and suprise you a later stage as well!! ) :D hope you will enjoy every birthday moment next week!
