Vervaco-DMC

Post by ThomasN »

Hi I have an old pattern by Vervaco( about 15yrs) which I did as a present for my mother. Now after a lengthy gap ,I feel up to doing it for myself as such a lovely picture -a sepia picture of a Roman man and woman faces , the pattern number is -25.492 75.492, but have long since mixed up skeins with my many others
The colours are :
white
creme
light beige
deep beige
light brown
middle brown
deep brown
very deep brown
I have tried twice unsuccessfully to match these but not having much luck. Can anyone help,I dont mind using DMC ,Anchor etc as long as I get it right
Thank you

Are those the only description that they gave????? No numbers?

I did a Sepia of John Wayne last year, the colors that they used was
DMC
Ecru
433-
434
435
436
437
738
739

Anchor
387
371
310
1046
1045

You might be able to match up some of these colors and make it look the way you want.
If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror
