Great work everyone.

I need to lose weight myself, currently at 90 kg (14st 2.4lb), but I'm not a diet type of person, I generally eat healthily except when Paul's nan comes around with freshly made apple pie and cheese cake (I try to kid myself that if I out enough fruit on the cheese cake it's almost healthy)
Thank you to who ever mentioned c25k though, that's just what I need, combine that with my xbox kinect fitness plan and I should get to my target weight eventually (which is 70-75 kg, so just over 11 st)

Well done, Lorraine, that's great!

We had a bit of a naughty weekend. Giant bag of crisps on Saturday and some bread and cheese.  However, we did a 4 mile run on Saturday and a 3 mile run on Sunday so I'm still the same weight. Phew!

I'm going along to my workmate's Slimming World class tomorrow night as I thought going to this will give me more of an incentive. I get fed up quite easily and although I'm good all day, I struggle in the evenings, particularly Fridays and Saturdays, as OH works nights so I always eat on my own. I've been trying to follow the Slimming World plan at home on my own, but am not totally sure I'm doing it right. Also it'll be good to meet some new people. Since I moved to this town the only people I know are OH's family, my workmates and a couple of OH's friends.

I've kind of fallen off the wagon already.

In my second week I had several days where I wasn't feeling well, and I got very little sleep during those days. It sort of drained my motivation, and I haven't quite been able to get going again.

I will be trying harder again starting today.

I'm down nearly 3lbs since I last posted. More due to luck than anything else, though. Had a horrible couple of weeks and just feel totally peeved off - I feel so lethargic I want to sit and vegetate on the sofa. Sorry for moaning - just needed to.

It's ok Stitch.. I fell off the wagon again too... Yesterday I just couldn't eat enough food... and then at work I bought a snickers bar.. But I've been great with my Muay Thai classes and running when I can at home.. Yesterday it said that I've lost 3lbs so far this month... :D It looks and feels like I've lost a good deal of it in my face... Kind of not where I'd like it to be, but I suppose I shouldn't be picky

Care to share the recipe? .
Sorry I didn't get back here until now. I have been horribly stressed with a 4 month old daughter that is have some bad separation anxiety. I can't put her down for anything! I also just recently started a small cooking business to see how it goes and it is much more stressful than I anticipated.

Easy recipe:
Bake your pizza dough (I make my own)
add hummus as your "sauce" (plain or flavored)
Add chopped veggies like cucumbers, peppers, artichokes, olives, etc
Add some crumbled feta cheese

Pizza dough: *I'm not sure about amounts because I do it by look and consistency. The only thing I measure is the water and yeast.

Stir together
1 cup warm water
1 tablespoon sugar

spinkle in 2 1/4 teaspoon yeast, let "bloom" for 5 minutes

Mix in 1 tablespoon oil, a pinch of salt, any seasonings (like fresh garlic, dry seasonings, etc) and about 1 cup of flour. It should be pasty. Keep adding flour until it sticks to the spoon. Take the spoon out and knead in about 2-3 cups more flour. I use 1/2 whole wheat white flour and 1/2 bread flour. You know the consistency is right when the dough doesn't stick to your fingers too bad but it isn't dry.

Spray a bowl with oil spray. Add the dough and spray the top. Cove with plastic wrap and keep in a warm area for at least 30 minutes. Punch dpwn and use as any regular pizza dough.

I hope you understand the recipe. I never tried to write this one down before. I will have to make it again and write down what I do.

It's nearly a month into the year, I know, but I would like to join you! Well done to you all for your progress so far, and for anyone having a bad week...I know from dropping nearly half my body weight a few years ago, try not to feel blue, tomorrow is another day and a bad day today isn't going to undo all your hard work :)

I am currently weighing in at about 9 & 1/2 stone (133lbs) - will update later when I do my check-in on the Wii Fit - I know that doesn't sound an awful lot but at 5ft 1, weighing in at 14 & 1/2 stone only 4 or 5 years ago, every pound gained makes me convinced I am going to put it all back on, so I want to get on top of it now!

Ideally I would like to get back to around 8 stone, but just getting under 9 again will make me feel more comfortable :)

Thanks for letting me join you!

I went to my first Slimming World meeting last night with my friend from work. I thought it went really well and I feel like I'm on track now and have a proper goal to work towards. Since I have an official weigh-in next week and the group will be told how much I lost (or gained) I've got a real incentive to make more of an effort. I have to keep a food diary and also an exercise log so fingers crossed I will have a good week. At least I have my friend encouraging me at work and OH egging me on at home (he paid the fiver for my class so I don't suppose he wants to see it wasted, hahaha!)

I started back to p90x this week because the workouts provide a little more structure. That plus my weight was getting to a place I wasn't too cool with. Tracking all my food and workouts down in a notebook. Feeling nice and sore so far and that must mean something good is happening. Goal is to get down to 190 pounds (25 pound loss) at the end of 13 weeks.

I finally started my 'diet' last week. I weighed in today and have lost 4 pounds already!! for me that is awesome. It usually takes my body a few weeks to get into a new regime. Plus I haven't been able to do much exercise (I managed just one workout session of about 45 minutes earlier in the week) due to some pain in my ribs. Here's to hoping that the numbers on the scale keep going down even if its only 1lb a week

First week back at p90x was a success. Hit all the workouts as scheduled and managed to lose 4 pounds. Mostly carb and salt bloat but it's 4 less pounds to carry around.

Having a good week so far. Despite going to friends' and having pizza on Saturday night, I appear to have lost 3 or 4 pounds since last Wednesday! (Scales aren't very accurate, hence the vague amount!)

I did my best to burn the pizza off with exercise though and managed a 5.3 mile run on Friday, an hour and a quarter cycle ride on Saturday and a two mile run on Sunday. Phew! The Slimming World food plan is also working well for me and I very rarely feel hungry between meals. It's my first official weigh-in tomorrow night at my group so I hope to have a good loss to report.

This is the first time I've actually been to a group and it seems to be working a treat. I've managed to lose weight at home on my own before, but I always put it back on because I binge and if I lose a couple of pounds I treat myself (usually with pizza or fish and chips or something!)

 I think we've all forgotten about this

Let's see.. Since the beginning of the month I've lost 5 1/2 lbs. I find that a major success since I have issues with Hashimotos and all...

Muay Thai has been challenging but a lot of fun. I can feel myself toning up. I get my yellow belt this Thursday! No more newbie white for me. I'm established! And now my son can quit reminding me that my 2 year old is a higher belt than me

I've been doing physical therapy for my shoulder... I can feel the muscles in my arm toning up as well..Sometimes I really want to punch the guy silly, but my shoulder has made big improvements.

I've taken to running 2-3 times a week. My endurance is getting great.. Hoping to do a 5k with hubby this spring. He always does the "fun runs" every month on base.. I want to get a little better before the military men in the area put me to shame  I also want to run along the coastal reserve here. It's 4 miles and of course I could rest and whatnot.. I want to do a trial fun in the first of spring and see how I improve by fall....

Well done, Faith!

I am on the right track now, finally. One of my former medicines was responsible for me putting up so much weight recently, and as I stopped them, I can feel the difference already, others have seen it and my clothes' waistlines show it too. Don't know about the kilos, my scales don't work, but I am not interested either.
Also, with Stephen here, although we tend to eat something sweet with coffee, but not much, and we go for walks every day. Yay

I've done pretty well the last couple of weeks - my weigh-in last Wednesday said I lost a total of 8 pounds since I started Slimming World. Another 9 pounds to go to my target before I decide whether to shed another 4-5 pounds or stick where I am.

We went for another good run yesterday - 5.3 miles - stiff as a board this morning though, hahaha!
