It'll be a while before I start any of these (I swore I won't start another project until I finished the current one, otherwise I'll never finish any of them!), but I think Fairy Hallow (the first pic) will be the first

Well it's true! I love that design, I always have and I love how you've adapted it to suit them. If I didn't know better I'd have said I thought that's how it was meant to look, you did that good a job.

Those Mystic Stitch charts are lovely. I especially love the last one :)

My ticket came for the Sewing for pleasure/Hobbycrafts show so I'll be off to the NEC in a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to a good browse. Must remember it's a long walk back to my car though

Today was a very happy mail day for me! Not only did I get Ali-cat's fantastic biscornu,

(Thank you Ali, I love the maple leaves! My DH commented how the colours you chose are almost like a life cycle of a maple tree. Yellow in spring, changing to green, then red in the fall, and finally dried out and mottled yellow/brown. Perfect colour choices!! I love the back too.)

and a silk perle from Mabel

(I'm going through my charts deciding what to use it on, I love the colour)

I also received my charts from minij(but I can't take pics of those)!! Thank you all very, very much!

Happy, happy mail day to me.

Three bead tins   !

I'd been getting rather a lot of beads lately, and my storage system of lots of little plastic seal bags in a box wasn't working anymore. Then I found on eBay some tins with 16 little round pots with a see-through lid -- I ordered three (keep me going for a bit) and tried one out for size :-), it's perfect! I'll write the bead numbers on the lids.

Here's a pic of one of the tins:

Oh, I love the tins!! I've no beads (not from lack of trying - but all my local shops have stopped stocking them! ) but I really want that storage system for all my cooking spices!!

My postman neglects me horribly - such a sad little mailbox it is.
ah well the thaw in the temperature should help with such things :)

mabel - I've seen variations on those tins with magnets in them so you can stick them to your fridge (for spices) or what have you. very nifty. Love organizational goodies!
