Happy Stashmas, everyone! Look at the goodies that JennsD sent me, wonderful stashmas person:

Image

I've always had my eye on those little towels, and now I have three, plus designs. Not to mention more threads in new colours plus a lovely little beaded keyring. And what don't I know now about Wisconsin? And to top it all off, a handmade card. Awwww!

Thank you!

Oh, I forgot about Stashmas day! How stupid of me!!! I was so tired last night as I came home, that I went straight into bed and today I didn't think of it until I came online and saw the posts. I think I am coming down with something...

Anyway, I opened my present, and I feel so spoiled. Serinde sent me this:

Image

Which is 10 different pieces of fabric, some lovely thread, and a Cross Stitcher magazine, along with a lovely card. Fabulous gift, thank you so much, Serinde!

I think, a big stash-organising weekend is in order now. :D :D

Oh, and forgot to say, lovely gifts, everyone. It is such fun imagining all of us opening our presents with an expectant smile on our faces...

Ya'll are amazing! The mail came just a bit ago and two TWO lovely packages for me for Stashmas day. This one was from Laura. I thought I had a better pic of this lovely gift of fabric and threads, but I think you can see through or around the fur baby in the way:
Image
and then Victoria sent some charts, one of which will look lovely on Laura's beige fabric and a chart for an afghan (of all things). Laverne had to inspect this also:
Image
but finally decided that the silvery paper was more fun to sit on and so I got a better picture of the charts:

thank you all. this is the best forum around.

Carole, I'm glad Stashmas has worked out so well for you, after all...and you still have Kell's gift coming! I'm still watching for the rest of the gifts to be shown. This was my first time to participate in Stashmas, and it's been great! Theresa

I hope the variegated threads were ones you didn't yet have, as I saw you posting you liked those and specialty ones (the satin is the same color satin I used on my ToS).

Forgot to add I enjoyed this very much, it was my first Stashmas as well and it was a lot of fun seeing everyone's gifts!

I'm glad you like it and that Laverne loves the silver paper enough to leave the charts alone.

@Vanessa I'm so relieved that you liked your gifts!! The aerosmith ornament is the first pillow I've ever made so apologies if the finishing stitching is a bit rough, I don't own a sewing machine and I had a bit of an ordeal trying to attach the cording!!
A bit rough!! I was totally impressed with how professional it looked!! I would never have known it was the first one you have ever made. Looks like you have been doing them forever. Well done you :applesauce:

I had a lovely stashmas present from moon child. Some pretty Caron silk floss in lovely pastels! 2 pieces of 25 ct even weave in colours that are not white!!! :) A ball ornament done up in a pretty seed bead cover, and a small kit for an angel. And of course a very nice card.

Sorry for the delays in posting, and the lack of pictures, I've been so busy trying to finish off my assignments that everything else is falling so far behind. Just 11 more days and it's all over for the semester.
