CCN are releasing a Cottage each month and the ones that I've seen so far are so cute that I couldn't resist. I'm going to be stitching them along with my friend. We've already made good progress on January's cottage and will be starting each new one on the first of the month, providing we have the stash of course.

Here are the progress photos so far for the Jan cottage.

I've just got a bit more to do on this and then I'll attack some of my other poor neglected WIPs for a week or so ;)

Thanks for looking.

That's nice! Is there a link for them?

They'd make lovely 'housewarming' cards. :D

Why oh why do you put things on here that make me want to buy more stash? Your cottage is just adorable, I love it, and beautiful stitching too. What or how are you going to do or display the twelve when they are done? Any ideas?

:applesauce: That is lovely and how much fun it must be stitching along with your friend. I love these types of series. Looking forward to all of the updates on them.

They're probably a bit for cards as they're about 5.5" x 5.5". The Feb and March Cottages are on the CCN blog. If you go here and scroll down a bit you'll come to them.

I'm not sure yet how I'll display them. Some of the people stitching them are planning to keep switching them into one frame so there's just that month's on display. My friend is stitching them all onto one piece of fabric and will make a large wall hanging. I'm leaning towards displaying them all together in a four by three format but I'm not sure yet how I'll frame them.

February and March are so lovely too. I kind of like the idea of all them displayed as a grouping. That way you don't have to hide away any of them 11 months of the year. They are too pretty to not be displayed.
