As I said I started cross stiching over 20 yrs ago. I picked up a book of wild animal patterns, material, floss, and in no time I was hooked. I crossed stiched several of thos animals on T-shirts for everyone.
My favorite project to work on is Paula Vaughan creations. I love the old time pictures, porches, quilts, flowers, swings, and the colors she uses. I am determined to do a Thomas Kincaide someday. Right now I have two Paula Vaugan projects started and working on an African Grey.
I am 51 yrs old happily married with two trying but wonderful girls. One just turned 14 and the other will be 12 in July.
I am have two Poms, one Dachshaund, one Beagle, 6 birds, 2 conures, 2 Tiels, and two Parkeets. And 21 chickens with 20 peeps due to come around March 15. Love the fresh eggs. Getting pigs in April. Youngest daughter and her father's idea. I'm not suppose to have to lift a finger with those. Yeah yeah we'll see.
Most of the projects I have done are for other people. Of all the pictures I have done you won't find one on my walls. They have been for other people. I am determined to change that someday.

That is a pretty full house! We raised a pig in high school.. boy was it a handful good luck with them!

I am sure that you will have enough to keep you busy with the other animals without having to take care of the pigs as well.

I too love Paula Vaughan ones, especially the ones with quilts but have never done one and don't even have a chart of hers either. They were plentiful a few years ago in the shops etc but have since vanished. Must do a hunt later today and see what I come up with.
