You've made fantastic progress on it! The dress on this one is so pretty--and yours is looking great!!
I thought I'd let you know, if you hadn't spotted it, in the directions, they reversed the info for the metallic threads, the pearl and citrine should be opposite of what the chart key shows--for both the cross stitching and backstitching--I did a little of both before noticing, and then checked it against the picture and figured out why it didn't quite look right :doh:

great update. I will enjoy watching this one's update as much as I loved watching Karen's progress. It is one of the prettiest designs around.

I was actually going to ask you about that. I thought something was wrong at least with the floating dandelions, but I wasn't sure. I didn't catch that both colors were completely backwards, so thanks for that!

Glad to help--thought it looked strange too, then when I'd actually started on the ladybird wings, I knew the citrine was NOT the right color for them--thank goodness I didn't have too much to undo :anotherfrog:

I'm still working on this one, just not much lately. Little One got better, then got sick again. Ended up at the after hours clinic on a Friday night because her temp went up to 102F and she was complaining about her ear hurting. Next day we almost had to go the the ER because her temp was near 104F. Luckily, we got it down with some meds and cool water. She recovered just in time for her birthday, which was this past Saturday. So, stitching time got bumped aside for cleaning the house from top to bottom for her party. Now that everything is over and done with, I'm hoping that things will return to normal. I'll try and post a progress pic tomorrow (although, there's not been much progress).

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that your Little One has been so ill. It is scary when the temperatures you to go up like that. Glad that she got better in time for her birthday. Its hard at any age to be sick on your birthday, but especially when you are so young.
I hope that things calm down enough that you will be able to relax and stitch some.
Looking forward to an update when you get a chance.

Yikes, glad she's doing better now. I don't think I was ever sick on my birthdays, but I was on crutches for a few of them. Definitely not any fun. Oh, and one time my glasses were broken, so the big movie theme was kind of blurred...

Definitely your stitching had to take a backseat to get everything else done! Hope things are more settled for you now.

Poor thing. It is aweful to be so sick. Glad she recovered for her birthday.

One year I was in the hospital for my birthday, had to get my tonsils out and my mother decided that would be my birthday present.....not joking that is what I was told and why I was not given a cake. I got jello for 3 days. LIME jello I hate it to this day.
