Hi from (not very) sunny Sussex England

Post by sadietoo »

Hi all...

Just wanted to introduce myself. I've stitched on and (mostly) off for fifteen years but whenever I get going on a project I wonder how I could have lived without it...at the moment I have a very ambitious (for me) project on the go..my first attempt at linen....a beautiful wedding sampler.. Expect me to be back frequently for hand holding....!

 Hello and welcome from South Carolina. Glad you found us and hope you will stay a while. We are very food at encouraging and motivating each other, especially when a project seems to be difficult or bogged down. Hand holding while you try something new is one of this forum's specialties. We love pictures too, so I hope that you will post some of the sampler and anything else you are working on.

Hi Sadietoo and Welcome from cool and damp Brisbane its great to have you along. We are all very good and hand holding and encouraging each other with our stitching, stash gathering, learning new things etc.

Would love to see some pics of your work along with the new project. I will be most interested to see what you are doing and how you are managing the linen as my next new start will be on dark blue 32 cnt linen.

Welcome to the forum Sadietoo, from an extremely cold and wet Newcastle in Australia. I love stitching on linen so I hope you find it a pleasant experience too.
