Here's my progress:

DH looked at it and said that it seemed like looking through a shutter. As I do more stitching on it, the shutter will widen. I like that thought!

Great progress

I finally started Chatelaine Deep Blue Sea. Here's a picture of the design:

I've gotten about half of Part 1 done (out of 12):



It's stitched on 28 ct linen Cashel Mystic by Picture this Plus, using the recommended floss. The resolution of the picture may not be great, but I think I captured the floss colors.

Mister has been my constant companion this last week as I have been learning how to stitch on a dark fabric.

Also, my cat Jet is jealous of all of the pictures of Laverne with her stitchy stuff and has requested I post a picture of him with his stitchy stuff:

Your Chat looks gorgeous. I admire your sticking with the dark fabric. I don't think I could do that. And I love Jet. He is very handsome and we can always make room for another male stitcher. Amazing how they like to be right in it. If you don't stop them when they are kittens it's a losing battle.
