That looks really good Emma - glad everything worked out with the frame in the end after the initial panic!

Thanks everyone, I even laced it at the back rather than sticky tape!!! I can't take the credit for the frame choice as my friend picked it.

I think in the future I will be a little more tempted to do some more of my framing myself!!!

Finally started the second one!!!!

Rather than being regimented and ensuring that the variegation in the thread is shown properly I'm using a loop start this time so it's a bit more blended!!!

:applesauce: Great start. I hope that this one goes faster for you, or that you discover you enjoy stitching it more than the first one. You are a really good friend to do this twice. I know this will turn out as lovely as the other one did.

It looks lovely. I just love the effect of working with variegated thread and the loop start. It gives it such a nice blended look.

Well done on starting this one Emma :applesauce: , I know you've been dreading it after the first one. I like that variegation of the thread too. Very nice.

I missed the first one. This is beautiful. I can see how it would get tiresome very quickly. Be proud. You haven't let the quality of your stitching suffer for it.
